2D animation

The 2D animation task was a very enjoyable and exciting task, we worked as a group to create a short film about nothing really. but it was not really about the end product or great story but more about realising the potential of animation in the primary classroom! this could be used in many situations and subjects, making a very cross curricular tool for learning! subjects such as literacy and history would espcially benifit form this type of task. its a different medium for children to explore and express themselves.

Blogs?

Blogging is a concept that i had previously had not come across. Although i had heard the term blogging and blogs before i was unaware of there implications and abilities. for instance, the potential for blogs in school is huge, i have been thinking about the use in school, and have come to a conclusion. i believe that blogging could be an amazing way of carrying out assessment, for example, after each session they could write up what they have done on there blogs. this would work as a means of assessment and a way of keeping the school close by each class being able to follow each others work and what they are up to. another reason why i think blogging could be really useful is a means of parents being able to track their childrens work and ideas from class when at home!

Technological advances of the 1930s-1940s

Hello to all, as some of you may know iam going to look at the technological advance between 1930-1945 and how they effected the outcome of the second world war!
Just wondering if any of you had any thought on this? and if you might have any imput, books or even if you just want a bit of a debate about the issues raised by this topic!

ICT in the primary school
